Joseph has been a disciple of Swami Parthasarathy since 1996, completing his three-year residence at the Vedanta Academy in 2001. He has also earned a degree from Washington University in St. Louis in the field of South and East Asian Religions. This strong academic and experiental base makes his approach to the Vedanta philosophy both nuanced and well-grounded.

Joseph has accompanied Swamiji in various parts of the world and consequently brings stories and anecdotes to his classes which are unique to one who has witnessed the life of a Vedantic master.

Joseph is currently based in Austin, Texas and is conducting regular discourses on Vedanta.
