A student of Vedanta and disciple of Swami Parthasarathy since 1997, Joseph has spent mostd of the last thirteen years in India. After completing the Vedanta Academy’s rigorous, three year residential course on Vedanta in 2001, Joseph returned to America and Washington University in St. Louis where he completed his BA in South and East Asian Religions.

Since then Joseph has remained close to Swamiji and the ashram and continues to practice there for extended periods, having returned to India more than twenty times. He has taught on behalf of the Vedanta Cultural Foundation at home in Texas and was recently posted as the resident Vedanta teacher in a world class spa on the island of Mauritius.

Joseph also serves the non-profit VCF as an organizer of events in Swamiji’s annual US tours.

Joseph now heads up VCF operations in Los Angeles.
